Well here we go! This will be my first post on my South Korean blog. I'm hoping that this will be an opportunity for me to post my experiences of teaching and living abroad, also hoping that other teachers will post on here and share their experiences, so please feel free to comment away.
As a early Christmas present I received an Email from my recruiter (Footprints) on the 22nd December stating that the school board in Seoul had approved my application!!!! BOOM! After missing out in August due to me leaving it too late it was more relief than anything else! That means that I now have 6 weeks to absorb the news, prepare myself, sort out Visas, Pack my stuff and generally panic about what I've actually let myself in for *Deep breaths*
I'm sure that everybody else will have the same concerns, but the great thing with the EPIK programme is that we have a weeks orientation to meet other teachers and share what should be a great week of lessons, presentations, cultural experiences and of course some heavy partying!!!!
Think I'm going to wait till I get my NOA before I post again but thought I should break my blogging virginity and what better day to do it than Christmas day!!!
Happy Christmas peeps!
